The SAFE Conference has been described as the biggest leadership and career conference for teenagers in Nigeria. This event gathers about a thousand teenagers under one roof. Since its inception in 2014, this conference has hosted over 6000 + youths below the age of 20, providing them with the right orientation needed not just to survive in life but to become active global citizens who proffer solutions to challenges facing them and the world around them.  Before turning 20, past participants have demonstrated clarity of vision, excellent academic performances, purposeful career pursuit and leadership, they have been seen to demonstrate a keen interest in community development and entrepreneurship. It brings together 1000 young people between the ages of 13 and 19 living in Oyo state who have demonstrated an interest in leadership, entrepreneurship or with an excellent academic record. The SAFE (Securing Africa's Future through Education) fills the gap in the academic curriculum of most schools in Nigeria by using unconventional approaches to equip learners with cognitive, leadership, life, and employability skills required to succeed in future workspaces, become innovative entrepreneurs and carry on active citizenship. Through an annual conference, a 12-day leadership academy, and a social-entrepreneurship competition, we help adolescents to begin to apply what they are learning in school to real-world problem solving and community development activities.
